INGREDIENTES

  • 4 claras de ovo
  • 150 g de açúcar refinado

PREPARAÇÃO

  • Pré-aqueça o forno nos 200 ºC
  • Bata as claras em castelo e vá adicionando o açúcar aos poucos.
  • Quando as claras estiverem bem firmes pare de bater.
  • Com uma colher ou com um saco de pasteleiro coloque o merengue nos bolos, tortas ou simplesmente num tabuleiro com papel vegetal.
  • Leve ao forno até ficar douradinho.

DICAS

  • Pode dosear a quantidade de açúcar refinado com açúcar em pó.
  • A utilização do merengue pode ser interessante para várias receitas, mas sugerimos que o aplique antes de ir ao forno, para dourar em seguida, em tartes de limão e de chocolate com massa quebrada.
  • Se ponderar a cozedura do merengue de modo a reservá-lo para decorar outros bolos, opte por açúcar em pó e deixe confecionar a 120 ºC durante 60 minutos.
